three happy girls = one happy momma

so finally getting a chance to post some pics from Christmas... is it really january 10th? i don't know where the past several days have gone. first we were busy trying to get down the three trees and other santa related decor. it is crazy how much i enjoy it until new year's day and then it is time to get it down. quick. because we all try to start the new year clean and organized, right? i just wish i could stay in that organized frame of mind a bit longer. so just cleaning and organizing and giving away the old to make room for the new. and then had miss rayley sick and maggie's 18 month visit and today the girls were home from school again because of the 4 inches of snow we received last night. which is beautiful...for a day or two. and then ready for it to melt so we may safely travel! so...Christmas morning was wonderful...full of the excitement of santa coming to our house from our big girls. and the wonder of watching miss maggie just loving watching her sisters.

:: our girl looks too cute in her bunny hat ;)

:: and she loves her new music set...especially the bells and 'racas'!

:: and maggie helping her sisters color their new playhouse...that was well worth the $19.99 it cost at michael's! she just had to be a part of what they were doing, and i was not sure if she could hold the crayon and do it...but of course she proved to be such a big girl and colored beautifully!

:: emme grace's big gift from santa...playmobil vet set. our mimi loves animals!

:: miss rayley's wish list...lots of hello kitty!

:: a bit blurry...but i love this picture. it perfectly captures the look miss maggie gives her big sisters all the time. that 'i think you hung the moon and i love you to pieces' look. makes my heart sooo happy!

:: santa's presents anxiously awaiting three little girls :)

:: magpie's new riding toy...too cute! and the perfect size for our tiny girl!

:: miss maggie's first backpack...a little owl, almost as cute as her!

:: look at those 'racas' go!

so it was a wonderful Christmas that i know will be even better next year when miss maggie can run into the room with her big sisters! it will be even more chaotic and it will be pure bliss :) so my resolution is to TRY and be more organized...which will hopefully include more time for more blogging. because i love to write and share with all of the other wonderful moms i have 'met' through the blogging world. and i love to read all of your sweet words that help make this mom's day. and i love to look at all the pics of all the other sweet babies out there blessed with that magical chromosome ;) so a very belated merry Christmas and happy new year to all of you that are a part of our journey....

  5. Your girls are so cute. I am glad Kate is a girl but there is something so fun about having all girls or boys. I was so okay with all boys. I read a few post back and do you live near Nashville? I was just there with Kate seeing a SLP that was working with another family. Anyway small world. I will enjoy seeing what your little Maggie is up to as she is older than Kate.

  6. We actually live in Cincinnati but were in Franklin over the weekend. I think it is south of Nashville, very cute little town. The family we met had mentioned middle Tenn DSA and Vanderbilt DS clinic. They also mentioned there was a conference there in April or something and said it was good. I guess it is every other year. Are you familiar with it?
